Debra Saucier was introduced to the beauty and intricacy of beading during her biennial visits to Japan. Her summers spent there as a child with her grandmother helped cultivate an appreciation and admiration for the importance of all art forms in Japanese culture. That undeterred respect has influenced her throughout her youth and into the present.

Debra specializes in wire and off-loom stitching and is continuously striving to better herself as both a student and teacher. The classes she teaches at the local bead store she owns with husband, David, caters to everyone, and includes wire, off-loom, chainmaille, PMC and much more. She obtains great satisfaction in demystifying projects and techniques for all levels of students as well as offering people of every skill level an artistic outlet. Debra continues expanding her repertoire as well, taking every opportunity to step into a classroom or seminar to further advance her skills.

Debra was named one of the inital CREATE YOUR STYLE with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Ambassadors early in 2009 and has taught at the CREATE YOUR STYLE
Event in Tucson, 2011 CREATE YOUR STYLE Cruise to the Bahamas as well as other showes across the world including The Bead & Button Show, Bead Fest & Creativ Festival.

In 2011, Debra launched a new product called Crystal Clay two part epoxy clay for use in the jewelry and crafting community.

Her work was recently featured in Beading Across America and in the upcoming Crystal Jewelry Inspiration from the CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassadors  book from Kalmbach Publishing due out in early 2013.
